While July 10 is recognized as the date of Dublin's founding, as far as I'm aware there is no trad tune called "Dublin's Birthday." So we'll honor instead the birthday of Fred Gwynne, with a rousing rendition of "The Star of Munster" (see what I did there?). Meanwhile, I'll try to put the finishing touches on my new slip jig, entitled "The Two Yoots."

We meet on the second and fourth Sundays of every month, from 1-4pm, at Factory Fuel in Flemington NJ.
Bring the family out for this one; for a change, enjoy a little sunshine with your regularly scheduled dose of Irish music... and complement it with a baked treat and top-notch cup of your favorite hot or cold coffee- or tea-like concoction... or BYOB, if that's the way you roll on Sunday afternoons.
Great craic, lots of fun and talented musicians. Bring your instrument, your party piece-- and, by all means, the kids! (Musicians and singers, please be sure to read these pointers.)
