Loved your version of the The Galtee Mountain Boy. It gave me a nice 5 minute reprieve from the old grind this morning.
Once in a while I'll try to strum a few chords on my guitar to the tune of a couple of old Irish songs. I think I'll have a hunt around for the chords to this one. I'm sure it's a nice one to play while having a few pints.
Spancil Hill is another big favorite of mine - listening to that now. Have you got a favorite version? Paddy Reilly and The Wolfe Tones do a fine job of it, and I just love that Christy Moore/Shane McGowan version you can find on YouTube. A little bit incoherent from Shane, but what song of his isn't!
